OPEN BANKING

Plaid Available through Dwolla’s Open Banking Services (General Availability)

We're pleased to announce the general availability of our expanded Plaid integration! Dwolla clients are now able to leverage Plaid’s instant account verification and real-time balance check alongside comprehensive pay-by-bank payments through a single vendor and a single API.

The new solution operates via a single API that seamlessly provides access to open banking services integrated with pay-by-bank payment methods, including ACH, RTP and FedNow.

Dashboard Improvements

• Plaid on Open Banking page: Within the Open Banking section, Plaid has been added as a services provider.
• Customer webhooks: Within the Customers section, the new webhooks page allows you to identify when customers are created, verified or need to provide additional information.
• Correlation ID display: The Dashboard now displays the correlationId for transfers, even if the value is [blank]. This will be a huge help for troubleshooting.
• Micro-deposit Returns report improvement: The Owner ID of returned micro-deposits links to the related customer record in the Dashboard.
• ACH Return Rates report improvement: A pie chart has been updated to display the breakdown of overall returns.
• Additional sub-user functionality: Sub-users can now add Billing Sources and see micro-deposit status for a funding source.
• Bug fix: The MassPays list for each customer now reloads correctly when switching between different customers.
• Bug fix: Icons on the Funds Flow Overview page now display properly in Firefox.
