What is an Unverified Customer?

Summary
An Unverified Customer is an end user type within the Dwolla API.

This customer type does not go through the full identity verification process via a Customer Identification Program (CIP). Unverified Customers have limited functionality and are not eligible to hold a balance on your platform. Creating such a user requires a name, email address and banking information in order to be enabled on the platform.

All transactions require at least one party to be verified. Funds can’t be sent between two Unverified Customers.
