What is an Addenda Record?

Addenda records can be added to ACH transactions as a note or memo containing information about a specific payment.

The addenda record is used to provide additional information to the payment recipient about the payment. This value will be passed in a transfer request and can be exposed on your user’s bank statement.

Addenda records provide a unique opportunity to supply your users with more information about their transactions. Allowing you to include additional details about the transaction (such as invoice numbers) provides your end users with more information about the transaction directly in the payment details provided in their bank statement.
