What is a ‘send’ funds flow?

Summary
A ‘send’ funds flow is when you, our client, are using Dwolla’s service to send funds from your account to your users’ accounts.

You can send payments to all user types:

• Verified Customer Records
• Unverified Customer Records
• Receive Only Users

With a ‘send’ funds flow, you are able to initiate a payment either from your bank funding source or Dwolla Balance, to your customers’ bank accounts or their Dwolla Balance.

All of Dwolla’s payment methods (ACH, Same Day ACH, Next Day ACH, Real-time Payments) support this payment flow.

A common use case for send funds flows is payroll, sending payments to employees.
