### Information

**Title**
What is a ‘facilitation’ funds flow?

**Summary**
A ‘facilitation’ funds flow allows clients to permit two users on their application to [initiate payments](https://developers.dwolla.com/guides/transfer-money-between-users#transfer-money-between-your-users) to each other directly,  with one API call.

Facilitating transfers directly between your users can help expedite processing times. Additionally, Dwolla has enabled a [facilitator fee feature](https://developers.dwolla.com/concepts/facilitator-fee#facilitator-fee) within the API that allows a business to set up a flat rate fee for a transaction between two parties.

Any user type can participate in this funds flow, but at least one party to the transaction (the sender or the receiver), must be a [Verified Customer Record](https://developers.dwolla.com/concepts/customer-types#verified-customer).

A common use case for ‘facilitate’ funds flows is a real estate platform that facilitates payments between landlords and tenants.
