Summary: Same Day ACH debits offer an expedited ACH timing option which allows for debit transactions to clear the same day in which they were initiated. Applications utilizing Dwolla can apply Same Day ACH timing to either the debit or credit portion of a transaction. This means that in a single business day, a debit transaction can be set up to make funds available in the Dwolla Network, and/or a credit transaction can also be credited to a receiver's bank account via Same Day ACH timing. Due to the increased risk of Same Day ACH transactions, transaction limits for these options may be lower than that for standard ACH transactions.
