How long does it take to review my submitted application?

**Summary**  
In order to do a full API integration and gain access to your production API keys, [going live with Dwolla requires](/content/resources/application-approval-guide/index.html) a complete review of your business and use case by our internal teams–which may take up to 5 business days. Once we’ve confirmed our ability to support your business’ use case, we’ll do a final review of your application to ensure that integration requirements are met. To better understand these requirements, please refer to the Integration Guide, accessible via the Dwolla dashboard.

**We recommend starting this process three to four weeks before your intended launch date to allow time to implement necessary updates to your integration.**

Once an application has been submitted for review, please allow up to two business days for our team to review and provide initial feedback, which typically involves details that are missing or requests for clarification.

As soon as your development team implements all required updates, our team will do a final review of your application prior to being approved.

The application itself is broken down into sections but there are three main areas that will require review and approval.

**1. Terms of Service and Privacy Policy –** We review to ensure you have incorporated required authorization language in your Terms of Service (refer to section 1a of the Integration Guide)

If you have met all the requirements, you should receive approval within four business days.

**2. Information Security Questionnaire –** Refer to section 8 of the Integration Guide for all of these requirements that will need to be met prior to final approval. Once you have submitted your answers, our team will do a full review, provide any feedback or reach out with questions. The initial review can take up to four business days to complete. Additional reviews can take between one and two days for approvals.

**3. User Experience Screenshots –** You must submit screenshots of the user experience from your mobile app and/or website. Depending on your funds flow and customer types, these may include:

- Valid acceptance of the Terms of Service & Privacy Policy  
- Transaction history display for Dwolla Accounts  
- Dwolla Balance display for Verified Customer Records (VCR)  
- Beneficial Ownership certification for Business VCRs

If all of the information is sufficient, please allow four business days for final review and approval.

**Note**: All sections within the application must be approved in order to gain access to your Production API keys.
