Yes, an Unverified Customer can be upgraded to a Verified Customer by supplying the necessary information to verify the Customer’s identity. Reference this table for required information.

Verified Customers are customers who have had their identity verified on the Dwolla Platform and are eligible to hold a Dwolla Balance. In every transfer initiated through the Dwolla Platform, at least one party must be a Verified Customer. Think of the Dwolla Balance as a “wallet” which an end user can send, receive or hold funds within the Dwolla Network.

A Verified Customer can be either Personal or Business. Verified Customers have no weekly transfer limits, which gives this Customer type more flexibility to support higher transfer volumes. An important note, a Verified Customer Record cannot be downgraded to an Unverified Customer Record.
